Hey guys, how's it going?

I wanted to show this forum some love as it seemed a little lost in the world.

Now, I'm new here "Hi, how ya doin'?" and my channel sees a whole mess of different video types.  One of the things I really enjoy making is clothing haul videos.  I do enjoy a good bit of retail therapy, and, during my research, I have seen a void of male fashion channels that look at everyday, high street essentials.  A lot of the male focused fashion channels go for that High End, Suit and Tie nonsense which most people don't care about (From my experiences)

Eventually this will expand into hair dying tutorials as I will be doing this for an up-coming event, and it crosses both of my main genres.

I wondered what your thought on this were?  Do you feel as though there is little down this path because guys don't want to see it? Did I miss some MASSIVE youtubers doing this? Or have I found a niche to explore?

I don't think I've seen many channels (or any at all) covering this niche. Could be interesting for you to try out. It'd sound like fun to experiment with as well.

It's already something I am doing.  It gets a little bit of notice which is nice.  Now I need to find ways to expand the genre :) Be the market leader and all that :P

I think you're onto something!!  I watch a lot of YT.. & a lot of different types of channels & I can't say I've ever seen anything like that. You could definitely be a leader in that, for sure. My brother would spend hours shopping for clothes & had more pairs of shoes than I did throughout high school years. I know he'd have loved a channel like that if YT was a thing for us back then. (We're now in our 30's. ) Heck, he'd still probably like it now, because his girlfriend complains all the time that he has more clothes than her, so she has to use the guest room closet! I know there are a lot of guys into fashion like he is.. so I'd take this idea & RUN WITH IT!!!

Good luck!

And run with it I shall!  I've got a bit of a detour going on right now but I'll swing it back round.  I have plans, maybe not good ones, but plans none the less.  Thanks for the input, it's always worth a fresh pair of eyes with this things so thank you :)

I didn't even know this niche existed on youtube but I can see it actually working pretty well. It's kind of ironic that society believes women shop more, but there's a lot of men out there who break that stereotype and LOVE shopping. I know @HTKVlogs already mentioned this but my dad has more pairs of shoes than my mom and I wouldn't be surprised if he had more clothing than her since my mom doesn't go out much and my dad is a musician and has suits along with casual ware. For me I like to mix up my wardrobe a lot and most times I do that it cost a good $200-$300 for all my new clothes.

If this is something you're really into doing, go ahead and run with this. Clothing hauls is good, but you can also take the time to doing a sort of catwalk-like video, show off a variety of clothing. Talk about mens fashion trends, hair styles, and mens beauty which you're planning to do. It can turn into a pretty good channel all around.
